For the first time ever I had jealously rage! I have never had jealously rage before so I was surprised when I had it. It’s kinda silly now that I think of it but yeah I had it.
This is what has been going on. Soon we are starting the adoption process. So been talking about this since last year. My sister asks you when you guys start the process. The honest truth we have to pay into taxes this year and it sucks! That’s what we need to start but we have figured it out to do both. It’s nice we don’t have to pay taxes till April so that gives us some lee-way on when to pay for things.
My sister starting saying what if I was your surrogate. At first I was like no way! Then as Jeff and I discussed it, I considered it. Jeff looked up what that would cost and SHOCKED! It costs as much as adoption. Then what if it doesn’t work have to pay again and again. No thanks.
I don’t understand where was everyone about two to three years ago? Or when I was in my twenties. All of sudden I talk about adoption and those two Jeff and my sister talking alternatives. That pissed me off.
Here is jealously rage. My sister was talking she could use her egg and Jeff’s sperm and carry the baby. OH HELL NO! ACTIVATE JEALOUSY RAGE! Jeff is my guy! Yeah that is what my brain was thinking sounds ridiculous now, and I understand that. I get that she would give up all rights to the baby and all of the other stuff it comes with. But the thought of her DNA and Jeff’s really made have jealously rage! All I can say is I am only human.
I took me awhile to decide. So I decide to look at alternatives to get pregnant etc but still do adoption. I just so want a child so badly.
In the beginning the week I didn’t forget about Valentine’s Day. I thought of a romantic comedy to watch Love Actually. I have seen it already but Jeff wanted to see it. Then Valentine’s Day came and I forgot about it. Lol! That’s how much I care about Valentine’s Day.
Anyways we watched Love Actually. I forgot a lot about that movie so it was good to watch again. Jeff said he liked it. I forgot how much nudity is in that movie. Lol!
Helen sent me a great birthday presents! She is always so thoughtful.
Mom, Bree and I were supposed to see Disney on ice on Sunday but somehow mom got the wrong tickets and we missed it. I was disappointed because I really wanted to see this. I have no idea how mom ordered the wrong tickets.
Then she said she would try to find other tickets and she did! We saw Disney on ice on Saturday instead of Sunday which it worked out because Sunday it was very snowy out.
Now I know this is made for kids. However I didn’t like the first half of the show. It was the retelling of Frozen. I was disappointed on that because I wanted to see more princesses. Even my niece said the same thing and she is eight.
I did like the second half. It was more of the Disney that I know. Like the Lion King, Aladdin and Mulan which my mom and Bree didn’t know who that was! Lol! The dragon was cool. However my favorite was Toy Story. The toy soldiers were neat to see. It was a good time to spend with mom and Bree.
I gave up being sick this week and went to the doctor. I am glad I did! They gave me some good medicine and that day I started to feel better. The doctor told me I had junkie lungs. LOL! Meaning mucus in the lungs which I have asthma so that made since to me.
So…I got a blood blister on my tongue the other night. I didn’t even know that could happen! Was eating and I bit my tongue. No big deal. Then I felt my tongue swell and I looked and there was a blood blister on my tongue! I didn’t know what to do. The internet says do not pop. So I called my mom and my mom says pop it. Mom says to either bite it or stick a needle in it after sanitizing it. She said since I was on antibiotics anyways for my sickness that it would take care of any infection on the tongue if there were to be any.
Jeff suggested putting ice there till was numb. So I did that then I popped it with a needle. Jeff was freaking out! LOL! That I popped it with a needle. I am glad I did though. Now it’s not there and can’t even tell there was anything there. It didn’t hurt when I popped it and it doesn’t hurt now. What adventures I have.
I am going to see Disney on Ice with my mom and Bree on Sunday. I don’t know why but I really want to see this. I grew up watching Disney so I just a big kid sometimes. I think it will be fun.
Ugh! I have been sick! I have never had a sore throat like I did a few days ago in my life! Unfortunately I got Jeff sick. I feel bad about that.
Our weather doesn’t help either. Now it isn’t as cold as it was but we have rain which is turning to ice. Why do we live here again? A question I ask every winter.
Oh it has been so cold in Wisconsin for the last few days. During the day it has been -15F. Then I got sick. My asthma is terrible and it feels like I have the flu. Been taking my medicine but it’s my throat it has been terribly sore. Ugh!
Tex never sleeps there by himself but he is thinking it’s warm over there.
Scotty has the right idea. Curl up with Jeff.
It was so cold that Jeff had two days off of work and basically everything was closed.
Today it is warm 2F. Heat wave! LOL!
This Sunday is the Superbowl! Of course we are going to watch. I want the Rams to win. Also Maroon 5 is the half time. I know they are going to put on a show. It will be fun to watch.
Oh man it’s cold now! Look at all the snow we got over night!
During the day it has been 0 or in the negatives. I hate WI winter!
Last Sunday we celebrated my dad’s 64th birthday it was fun. We all went over to my parent’s house. We had pizza and Jeff made red velvet cake with his own frosting. I admit the cake was good but I didn’t care for the frosting and Jeff agreed.
Excited! While at my parents house I discuss going to Disney on Ice with my mom and who ever wanted to go. It’s going to be my mom, Bree and me. I am excited to go. I haven’t seen one of those things since I was a kid. It will be in February.
It’s been so freaking cold out. Negatives at night. Ugh I hate winter in January. My toes are finally healing! Yay! I can move them a little. Wearing shoes still suck though.
Last week was fun. April came over on Tuesday till Wednesday. We had fun. We watched The Greatest Showman. It was really good and I liked the music in it.
I was skeptical about Reiki. However April has been studying it and I have to say is WOW! She did it on Scotty when she was over and I have never seen Scotty act that way before. He was super chill and wanted April not to stop. It was awesome! I have seen a change when Scotty wakes up in the morning he doesn’t act like he is stiff.
On Thursday mom came over with Bree. Bree smashed her thumb in a door. It looked bad. So she didn’t go to school. We went out to eat, went shopping and had coffee. It was a good day!
I forgot to say on January 4. I was petting Tex and he was sitting on my foot like he always does. Then he saw Jeff pull into the driveway and got all excited like he always does. Except this time he used my foot as a launching pad to jump into the air and I heard crunch!
It hurt so badly! I thought for a couple days that he broke my little toe on my right foot. But after a few days I came to the conclusion it was two toes he broke. My two last toes on my right foot. I have been dealing with that. Nothing I can do really. Can’t go to the doctor because they don’t do anything for toes unless it’s the big one. I have been putting it up at night and taking painkillers. That’s all I can do till they heal.
On Friday the 11th. Well even before then Jeff had been complaining that he didn’t feel well. And didn’t know what to do. By Friday he came home and I admit he didn’t look too good so we went to the ER. He was complaining that his chest hurt and had a lump in his throat.
The time we checked in and the time we sat down. We had to get up again because we were called that fast. I think because Jeff said his chest hurt. They worked fast in the beginning.
They worked fast to rule out heart attack. They took blood to rule out other things. Jeff had to get an x-ray of his chest. It’s cool they gave us a print out of his x-ray. They ruled out a lot of things. Found out he was really dehydrated. They gave him I think it was three bags of solution which took the longest. We were there at five and didn’t leave to almost nine.
Since we were there so long ugh I was in so much pain when we got home. My foot! I couldn’t take off my shoes or put my foot up. It was swollen and painful all that night. Sleeping wasn’t really a thing that night because of the pain and nothing seemed to helped.
However I am glad he is okay though. I was so worried.
It’s that time again to write on this app. Lol! I can’t help it. I love this app.
I want to start with the bad then do the good. First I have to say HELLO LOVESTRUCK! I only say that because literally after stating that Speakeasy Tonight does not have any unlock able art it got unlock able art. Hi, I am writing about your app again!
There some cons I have run across. I want to start with the bad then end with the good. Because this time the good out weighs the bad.
The biggest bug I have found in this
app is between devices. I read this app on my iPad then on my phone.
It shouldn’t matter where I read this app but it does. Since I logged
into my FB with it, it should keep my stories but…it does and it
doesn’t. Here is the biggest thing that is annoying to me.
First from device to device it never
keeps my bookmark place. For example lets say I am in season two of a
story on my iPad. When I log in to that same story on my phone it
always goes back to season one. If I am not paying attention I
accidentally put a ticket in season one when I am in season two. It’s
so annoying! Because I prefer to read Lovestruck
on my iPad but if I am away I check in on my phone to put in tickets
and if I am not paying attention I waste a ticket on the wrong
season.
Second biggest bug I have found of the
device to device, again. It’s hearts weekend! Read so many chapters
get hearts. Like I said I like to read on my iPad. However when
hearts weekend comes by and I read chapters on my iPad it counts.
HOWEVER! I decide to read some chapters on my phone, I have to start
all over. Meaning from device to device you can’t continue the tier
you are on. Have to start all over which sucks!
It does however keep what episode you are on just not the season.
One more thing that is more of an irritation then a bug. Is the trophy icon. This is where you can look at the pics you unlocked. Why is it in between the camera and gear? It’s a terrible spot for it! I more times then not I click the gear instead of the trophy. Would have been better on the other side of the camera or further away. Maybe on the other side of the heading.
Please fix the bugs soon. So we all can enjoy your wonderful app of stories.
Okay here is some bloopers.
I decided to read all of the stories on the app. Not all at once mind you but eventually all of them regardless of gender preference.
That means I went back to my very first story I started reading when I first got the app. The Starship Promise Captain Orion. This made me laugh so hard because it was so ridiculous and bad writing. Season one episode 6 there is part when Orion gives you a gift. Then you get the choice worth hearts and one without hearts as usual. The choice with no hearts is decline the gift. This is where it’s so funny! Your character says along the lines that you can’t except the gift because you are weird and can’t expect gifts for some reason. That made me laugh out loud for real! What terrible writing! How about I can’t expect a wonderful gift. Would have been a lot better. Please that was terrible and please fix that. It was so funny though so maybe keep it for laughs.
After this I will stop writing about it
unless Speakeasy Tonight actually
gets some chapters. I am tried of talking about this story and I am
tired of reading it. I have one more character to read and that is
Sofia Martinez. Here is art that is messed up and made me laugh that
no one caught it. Since this app gets updated all the time, I am
surprised and not surprised. They know this story is not going to
continue so why fix it right?! Yes I think that has to be the reason.
Apparently her head is chopped in half. It’s kinda funny.
Now time for Pros.
This app is updated all the time!
The coolest thing about Lovestruck is
when an update of a story it comes out it’s literally that day. You
know I love to play Choices but Choices makes me wait
for chapters. Which I don’t understand why because if they are made
why make us wait? Lovestruck doesn’t. I could wake up at 2 A.M. and
it will be there.
Lovestruck fixed it’s timer. Yes and
it’s sped up as well. If I don’t pay I can still read three to four
times a day.
There is ton of stories to read! Unlike a lot of other choice story games. Lovestruck has so many to choose from and a variety as well.
I want to point that your character isn’t a super model. Your character is an average person. I like this because it makes it feel like an average person can fall in love with someone gorgeous and fictitious.
Side note in the future it would be cool to have a character that was a little chubby. Also I would like to see more races as well. So far there is only two races for a ‘you’ character. Really though there is only one story ‘you’ play an African American and that is Villainous Nights.
You can review each season and stories with hearts. I think this is a great idea. At first I thought all the reviews would be positive but there are some that are negative. I like that because it shows real people are reviewing the stories.
One more thing the mascot for Lovestruck is adorable! See if you can spot in the art work you unlock. Also I think the mascot is a puppy so puppy love. Nice!
