Popcorn Balls

On Saturday we did popcorn balls and this is was the biggest get together for them. Here is who came: Me and Jeff, Chrissy and family, Corey and family, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dave, Aunt Sue and Uncle Dan and the big surprise my cousin Erich. Erich lives in Oklahoma and he happened to visit his parents the weekend of popcorn balls. It was good to see him. Family trivia Erich and I were born on the same day March 17th. Lol!

Indian Tacos

coollogo_com-1368238

Oh so good!

Before I moved to this small town I never heard of Indian tacos. I have never tasted Indian tacos. I am talking about American Indian tacos.

A couple of years ago my husband and wanted to make authentic Indian tacos. Now you can find all kinds of recipes on the internet but they are nothing like the ones the American Indian’s make. We know because we tried some not the same. Sometimes Jeff co-workers will bring them in. He always gets me one and their yummy. Jeff works for an American Indian Tribe government.

It’s a secret recipe that each American Indian family has. Asking for the recipe from his co-workers no one will tell him the recipe. However my father-in-law is American Indian and he works the same place as Jeff. He knows quite a lot of people and one lady was nice enough to give us the recipe. I couldn’t believe we a got a recipe! Been trying for years to get one.

On Saturday March 7 2015 Jeff made Indian Tacos dough by hand. Yes! They tasted like Indian Tacos that Jeff brings home from work. So yummy! On Saturday my parents and my niece came over and we all had tacos. It was a great time. You really can’t go buy these tacos anywhere else. There are few restaurants here that make them but it’s more of a cultural thing.

If you ever get a chance to try an authentic Indian Taco go for it! You won’t regret it! They are so delicious!

Little Caesars

Little Caesars

Pizza Pizza?

In my town there are four pizza’s places to choose from, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa Murphy’s and Little Caesars.  I have no idea why anyone would choose Little Caesars over the others. Maybe it’s the prices but it sure not for the taste.

I remember Little Caesars when I was kid. Those commercials were catchy. They had the Little Caesars mascot and he would say “Pizza, Pizza”. Two simple words but really easy to remember, I also thought their pizza tasted good. But then again I have tried food from my childhood like Chef Boyardee its awful!

The Little Caesars in my town has the worst service and don’t dare ask questions, they look at like you’re an idiot. There is an elderly lady who works there, I think she is the manager or owner not really sure but she has the worst attitude. Also there pizza tastes so awful. Their pizza tastes like licking Band-Aids. Ever lick a Band-Aid? Try it (I’ll wait) and now you tasted Little Caesars pizza. Gross!

The only reason I go there is because my husband likes their pizzas. He’s says their different and cheap. Yeah cheap, so cheap you can taste it!

“Pizza, Pizza?” Hell no!
