Resident Evil

OMG! Resident Evil!

I am doing a happy dance. Resident Evil came out with another movie Vendetta! I so loved it! Finally another animated movie.

They made Chris younger looking. I like it, I like his new look. I was thinking that Chris looked to have too much muscle and old sort of. I mean technically he would be older but in Resident Evil 6 he was not looking too good. I so hope they keep him looking like this. I love it as he is one of my 3 favorite characters.

Yes I am still sad Wesker is dead. He was the ultimate bad guy.

Finally a movie with Rebecca Chambers! She is one of those characters that I wonder about. Like where does she fit in as the series moves on and how come they put her more into the series. She is a wonderful character.

Of course it had Leon. Have to have Leon! I like he is a complicated character and really never looks any different. He is such a badass.

I like how they improved the zombie. Zombie walking dead but more improved as they can target friend or foe. Now come on that is pretty damn cool! The villain was good too and totally had the grotesque monster as Resident Evil always have.

Oh they had the zombie dogs! Thinking of zombie dogs those things are hard to kill. In the game would always jump scare me as they come out of nowhere.

Please keep making animated Resident Evil movies.

Life

I feel badly for Jeff. He has worked so much with no break. I know he is really tired and sore from all the hard work he has been doing. I hope soon he can have a few days to do nothing. He even had to work through Easter which really sucks on top of that he is salary so anything over he doesn’t get paid for it. So shitty.

It has finally happened. I had to stop creating. I got some really bad cramps to very sore in my right hand from crafting. Now I am looking for a brace so I can continue crafting. However I am still going to craft when it feels a little better. I don’t want to stop creating because I love it so. I know I am heading for probably getting shots in my hands and maybe surgery in the future. That is something I will just deal with when the time comes.

I have come to terms that this is something I love. I love creating it’s my happy place. I love seeing what I can do which makes me happy. So I am going to just deal with the pain or stiffness it comes from it. I have no idea what I would do if I can’t.

On that note I made some new bracelets. I prefer these over the dragon scales. I think they look better however my mom liked the dragon scales over these.

I also have been creating tiny kitties. I dislike making their tales as the sewing part is hard for me. The pink kitty is my first and the multi-color kitty is my second. I don’t really like the multi-color kitty as you can’t see the eyes so much.

I did make Jeff a tiny kitty for work. He put it on his desk. He is says he loves it.  It’s the first kitty that I liked that I made. So cute!

Life

Easter was fun! I wasn’t sure if it would be because…family but it was. There wasn’t as many people as I thought was going to be there. The only siblings that were there was Kim, Corey and Crayne. I thought for sure Chrissy and family would be there but no. So only one little kid and they weren’t there for all that long. Oh one thing Kim complained how hard her life is to my mom! That is the last person anyone should complain about married life with.

Kim complained that she can’t always be superwoman she needs superman. I was laughing in my head when she said that. The only reason she was complaining is because my mom asked when she gets to see them again since they live closer now. That is when she said that. My mom got in her face a bit about not complaining about it because really there is nothing to compare. My mom had three sometimes four kids at home while my dad worked all the time and most of the time wasn’t in the same state, Kim has one kid and Corey works a bit around the state but the same state.

Other than that it was good so see the uncles and aunts and of course Jared. We played poker like always and Jared and I were ripping on each other. It was fun! I was the only one who lost but that is okay. I also got to look at old pictures, I like looking at old pictures of family. I got to show Jeff my grandparents so that as cool.

I made some more things with my loom. I saw these grips for the hooks and had to try and make them. I found the tiny rubber bands at the dollar tree. I can buy 500 of them for a dollar. I love the Dollar Tree!

The idle loom would be the straight one but didn’t have that one. So I use two of my looms to make it. It’s sort of a pain because no grooves one the outside of the loom as hard to get the rubber band over to knit it. I ended up just grabbing it with my fingers to do that part.

I totally love these grips and so easy to make! I do a have a bit of arthritis in my hands and these make it easier on them to knit. Now I want to make them for all my crochet hooks. Back to the Dollar Tree I go.

Time for another dog picture.

Koko is pondering with his head on his arm. Too funny!

Loom

I did it! I loom my first hat.

I like it but it’s a bit busy. And it’s too small. Ha! Now I am looming a bigger hat. I also want to learn how to make a flower. If I can learn that, I am good to make Christmas presents. Something funny, I told Jeff I already stabbed myself with the hook and bled. I said if you don’t bleed at least once on a project you are doing it wrong. He laughed and said do you know how much blood and swearing has gone in my car? A ton. We laughed because I am like I at least stab myself once on any project I create. So there is always blood and swearing.

I got my flower loom.

So I tried too me an hour to make and was getting frustrated. Not the best looking flower but can only get better looking from here.

I attached it to my first hat.

Life

I have a new project. I bought looms.

I kept seeing at Walmart and had to know how to do them. My plan is to make hats for Christmas presents. The instructions that came with them were all smashed in the box. Instead of reading smashed instructions I watched a couple of YouTube videos.  I have to admit I had to start over twice. The first time I started with the blue loom and the beginning turned out holey. Not good for a hat. Also the blue loom is for a child’s hat. The second time I picked the orange loom is for an adult hat and I somehow missed a loop when trying to make the brim of the hat.

However yesterday I finally got it!

I was getting a little frustrated with it but now that I got it, I can’t wait to continue. If this turns out great, I will be making more hats. I also found out that I can make more than just hats with the looms. But first just hats.

On Saturday I called my dad to see what they were doing. Nothing during the day so I asked him if he wanted to have brunch with us. Of course he said yes! We drove to Green Bay to meet them at the Pancake Place in Green Bay. When we got there the place was packed and this was only 11:30. Also we got there before my parents who live in Green Bay. Funny!

Anyway we got a table and I think they think you have to be a stick to fit anywhere in there. I was really crammed in the table. When my parents got there, they were really crammed in the table as well. That part was unpleasant but as people started to leave it wasn’t so crammed. My parents were surprised that we would make a trip just to eat out with them. I thought that was cool as well.

Life

coollogo_com-215272784I did it! I am so happy! I finished Rick Grimes on August 3rd 2016.

I fixed a couple of things on him and he looks way better.

I didn’t like his face. That color that was on the chart is dark. Makes it look he has a scar.

I took it out and now it looks better. Also I made his face fuller on the right side. He looks so good! Now I can’t wait to frame him.

Also got back my vase. It looks so cool! I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out but I think it turned out better then my candy dish.

Pen Pal

coollogo_com-218572137Do these even exist anymore?

Yes they do!

When I was younger I use to have a pen pal. I met him online. I know that can be really scary but it was fun at first. His name was Jon and he played in a band which he sent me a video of his band and they sucked. I of course didn’t say that they sucked. Anyways we chatted for about two years. The reason we stop writing each other because he simply stop writing me. Sad because we had a lot in common.

I had another pen pal and it was my cousin. We wrote for a long time and not sure why we stopped. It was so fun writing her because she lives in California. We use send post cards and letters. I like to write poetry and she would ask for them. She would tell that she read them to other people and how they liked them. I couldn’t believe it. My cousin Ann is a very creative person like me and it was great writing her.

Years upon years later. I have been thinking of having a pen pal. Someone who lives really far away from me. I want to discuss about the state or country that they live in or the country I live in. I want to find out about their lives etc. I really want to write real letters not just emails. Maybe exchange gifts through the mail. I want to learn about their culture or just talk about whatever.

Now I have two a potential third. I consider Helen one because we exchange gifts. I just love sending her things. Every time I go somewhere, I always see if I find something for her. I love learning about her culture and we talk about a variety of things.

The second is my cousin Alice. She lives in Utah. She has always been my favorite cousin because we are alike. She silly like me. So far we just have exchanged letter and it is fun. I am glad she is my pen pal. I get to learn more about her and more about her family.

The third will be a solider! I always wanted to write to someone in the military. You can adopt a solider on the internet. I encourage people who want a pen pal, adopt a solider. This will be my first time adopting one and I am really excited.

I like writing real letters because no one does that anymore.

Maybe in the future I will have more pen pals. Who knows? All I know it’s fun.
