Happy Birthday

March 17 was my birthday! I am 39! I had a great birthday. Monday I went to the dentist then went to see my parents. We went to a Mexican restaurant near their house because I wanted to eat a yummy taco salad. They gave me money and this really cute rug.

I got 40 pods of any coffee of my choosing from crazycups.com and that’s my birthday gift from Jeff! Best gift!

Then on Friday, we went to see Ken and Mileena. My birthday is the 17th, Mileena’s birthday is the 18th, and Ken’s birthday is the 19th. Birthday extravaganza! I got an Amazon gift card which is as good as actual money!

Chrissy bought me this cool bracelet!

I had a great birthday week!

Happy Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was a different Thanksgiving. We haven’t been at Thanksgiving in 2 years. The Thanksgiving in 2019 we went to see Jeff’s sister. Then 2020 happened. Nothing more to say there. It was different because it’s the first Thanksgiving I went to without my parents.

My dad had hip replacement surgery and there were some complications. So he wasn’t feeling up to going to Thanksgiving this year which made my mom happy. She has always hated going to Thanksgiving. I know Jeff didn’t really want to go without my parents but sometimes we have to adult even when we don’t want to.

I am glad we went this year. I have to say Thanksgiving has really thinned out since I was a kid. Not too many go anymore. It was still good to see some of my aunts and uncles and stay and chat.

I am starting to see why Vin Diesel says “It’s all about the family!” Because it is.

Life

Happy Halloween! I like seeing the costumes but only online. lol! No one tricks or treats over here anymore. We are going to watch the new Candyman and eat junk food. lol! Why not?! It will be fun!

Tex went and got groomed and he got a Halloween handkerchief.

Life

This Sunday is Mother’s day. I got mom some good presents. I bought some stuff on Wish. I thought for sure it wouldn’t come because it was supposed to get here on the 3rd and it came on the 7th of this week. If you can’t tell it’s a theme. Lol!

The little item on top of the candle is strawberry earrings. The big strawberry is actually a purse. Those are the items I got from Wish. The bag is cuter in person then on the website.

I am trying really hard to let this go. But my mom got her hair done…..

The grief she doled out last year for dying my hair was unbelievable. Then yet she does this! (Taking deep breaths.) However I think this looks great. I am going to let it go just hard right now. But I will get over it.

Like I mentioned this Sunday is Mother’s Day. Every year I send out invites on messenger. We always do a pot luck. I usually get on people’s cases to contribute whatever. Not this year. I said what we are bringing and no one else said anything else. So maybe we will just have hamburgers for Mother’s Day. They are adults, they can read. I don’t feel the need to be concerned with everyone else anymore.

I got my new diamond painting. I will be doing for my mom’s birthday in September.

On Thursday May 5 I saw the cutest little fox in our yard! He ran fast and I couldn’t get his front. But I did get a pic of him.

Here is a cute pic of Tex sitting like he does always. Lol!

Happy Birthday

Wednesday was my 38th birthday! Wow, 38 years I have been on this earth. It’s crazy to say in two years I will be 40. I have learned a lot in my 38 years.

The biggest thing I have learned and even more so because of Covid. Is what kind of people my siblings are. Good and bad. I have a closer bond with my sister and my younger brother. As my older brother is now a lot more strained and I don’t forsee me getting closer to him anytime soon.

I have to say I am more open-minded than I used to be. I see on Facebook how people become too divided. Also hehehe Facebook. I say the reason why I still use Facebook is because one yes I do play some of it’s games. But also a lot of my older family members use it and keeps me connected to them. Anyways back to the point is I don’t understand the divide. If one person wants to live their life in their own way, how can that be bad? It doesn’t affect me in anyway. On top of that why say this or that negatively towards one another? The whole vaccination thing has a lot of people on this side or that side. I say, whatever you feel is right for you, you should do that. It shouldn’t matter really what others think but that’s Facebook and the internet as a whole. For me I am going to do whatever I think is right for me.

On my birthday I went to the dentist and was actually excited to go. Please write that down on the calendar. Danielle wanted to go to the dentist. Yes! I got my partial dentures. Now I can eat properly and not be embarrassed when I smile. No one has ever pointed out when I smile I am missing teeth it’s more how I feel about it.

I got The Dark Pictures Man from Medan and Little Hope. I love those games where I can choose my own path. The Man from Medan I bought from the money my parents gave me and Little Hope is what Jeff got me.

On Saturday Jeff is going to make ribs for dinner. I love ribs! Then I get to choose the movie we watch. I picked The Colony it’s one of my favorite underrated movies and Jeff has never seen it.

Happy New Year

YAY! IT’S 2021! What a year right?!

I learned a lot this year. Seems strange to say that but I did. I would say more later in the year than the first half. Oh No! I am growing up more. Anyways, it’s true I feel like I grew up more this year.

This year was a lot too. I have to say first the pandemic then politics thrown in was all too overwhelming. I stopped looking at the news and carried on my own life. There is too much bullshit there. Also now the American people can see what I see when I see our government. Just a bunch of bullshitters who don’t really work for us but should but don’t. It’s easier to see now. On top of that the whole vaccine thing it’s just too much for one person to speculate.

Oh, man! My mom hates my hair! Did I damage it? Yes. But here is the thing, I don’t care. I loved it when it was purple which was my favorite hair color. I am going to try and get it to purple again. However the growth I got going on I am going to leave. Eventually, I will have my normal hair color again. Every time my mom sees my hair she tells me how much she hates it! LOL! But seriously I could care less what she thinks of my hair. And that’s the thing I am growing out of what my mom thinks of me. That for me is a win.

Well, here it goes 2021. I don’t know what the future will hold for me but I am going to keep working on my positivity. That is my goal of this year. To keep being mentally happy. It was hard this year for me and I feel a little ashamed to admit it and wondered how it happened. That means I need to keep working at it.

I’ll end this with a very cute pic that Jeff took of our fur babies.

Merry Christmas

It’s that time a year again. This year I am not feeling the Christmas spirit this year. We decided not to put up the tree. We did put snowflakes on the front window. That’s is something right?! Lol!

This year we are celebrating at my sister’s house. There isn’t going to be everyone.

I decided I have mermaid hair:

Jeff and I went to the Rockin’ Santa Lights with my parents like we did last year. They had DINOSAURS! I freaking love Dinosaurs!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a good Thanksgiving. Instead of turkey, we made meatloaf. It was so yummy! We also had mashed potatoes, cheesy potatoes, and cheddar biscuits. We also made pumpkin pies and got whipped cream. Everything was so good.

The dogs got some pumpkin not the pie but just a can of pumpkin with a little whipped cream. They loved it.

Jeff and I watched out holiday movie Planes, Train and Automobiles. Good fun.

Life

Last weekend we did pumpkins. Of course, Jeff did an amazing job. Mine well…..not so much. Lol! One of the pumpkins looks odd. I tried to fix it but it didn’t turn out too well.

I did the ones on the left. Jeff did the ones on the right. The first and third pumpkins I did, I got from my Uncle’s farm. They gave the best seeds!

Tex was so interesting in us carving pumpkins. It was funny to see him be so serious watching us. Lol!

Father’s Day

Sunday was Father’s day. My parents came over and it was a warm sunny day! I was happy it was nice out we could sit outside. Jeff made bacon burgers and brownies. It was so yummy! We gave dad a gift card to Menards since he is planning on building things for their home.

What I am really impressed is Tex. He didn’t bark at them like he usually does! He was adulting! At first he was a little timid but then it was a flurry of kisses! Lol! He really likes my dad. Kept going over to be petted by him.

He was a tired boy at the end of the day.
