Yay!!! I got a Ps4 finally!

It took me a little bit to choose what game to play first. I really want to play Dead Rising but it isn’t out yet. But for sure going to get that game when it does. I also want Days Gone whenever that comes out. So I chose Dying Light. It’s one of the first games I wanted to play when I saw it years ago.  I like it so far. Only been playing for a few days.

I have a funny story: Jeff was talking to his business partner using the headphones. I was playing the game and I had headphones on too. I thought I was being quite by whispering to myself. Like Fuck! Shit! OMG! WHAT?! What is THAT! You know normal video game terms. Lol! Not so, Jeff looks at me at points to the mic and yes I am pretty sure his business partner heard me. I was whispering loudly because I couldn’t hear myself because of the headphones. Oops! But it’s funny.

I got to the night time of that game WHAT??!! That is some scary shit! Those bigger zombies are super scary! And they chase you and I can’t run away fast enough and parkour well yet. So I have died quite a few times. They remind me of those zombies with the split faces in Resident Evil. Just at night it’s so scary! I am not a great stealthy player either even though I try, still though.

I am hooked again. Now video games invade my brain. That’s okay! No more ps3 for me. I decided it’s not worth going backwards. I tried playing games I have played in earlier version of PlayStation and I get bored. Like I tried playing Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 and they look the same as they did back then. It isn’t as fun. I rather keep them as good memories of games and move on. Even so I would still get some games again on the Ps4. Like I want to play all the Metro’s, love the books and the games. I also want to get PayDay 2 only because the add on contents for the Ps4 is way better than on the Ps3. Maybe some Silent Hill’s I haven’t played yet. Other than that games for Ps2 or PlayStation those are done for me.

With Dying Light I wonder if anyone has picked up on this. But I loved playing Dead Island the first one not the second one. That second one sucked. Anyways the other characters in the game like the extra people in the safe zones have the same voice actors for the other characters in Dead Island. It’s funny. Also the mechanics are pretty similar like the tree of progress you get with points. Can kill zombies from on top of vans just like in Dead Island. Crouch and hit them till they die. After killing all get down and search all the bodies. Funny! Even though unlike Dead Island some zombies can climb in Dying Light so have to kill those first before killing the others on top of vans or trash bins. Another similar mechanic between the two. Is kicking. I like if on top of a building I like to kick the zombie till they fall to their death just like in Dead Island. I am having fun since I love Dead Island so much this game is fun too.

I like the parkour aspect of it. I saw some tall buildings in the game so I am going to try to climb to the top just for fun. I think it’s funny that trash saves your life from a fall. Hey piles of trash? Yay! Jump into them because somehow that trash is pillows. There is nothing in them that would hurt me. LOL!

I know for sure I picked a good first game for my Ps4.

Yes I wanted to watch Mortal Kombat the movie again and I did. What a horrible acting movie! However I love it! My favorite parts is the fighting scenes. Of course my favorite is Scorpion and Cage fight. I noticed while watching it again that during that fight Scorpion’s spear thingy comes out of his hand but when he shoots it, it comes out of his forearm. The 90s attempt of CGI. Made me chuckle. I thought wouldn’t it be cool if they redid that movie in today’s technology. That would be great! That fight would be so much more enhanced. I know that will never happen but just a thought.

I also watched Mortal Kombat Annihilation. It’s like you have to watch that one after watching Mortal Kombat. They flow so well together.  Acting still horrible but fighting I like it.  I have seen these two movies so many times but I still like them.

Going to date myself but I remember going to the arcade to play Mortal Kombat. It was the goriest game in the arcade as well and always a line to play. Of course most of the time I was the only girl who wanted to play it. My favorite character and still is Scorpion. That spear is super cool and still is today. Of course I love the tension between Scorpion and Sub Zero. Fire versus ice! How original right? Lol!

Anyway I was searching YouTube for more Mortal Kombat things to watch. I found that Machinima on YouTube has Mortal Kombat Legacy. Seriously! It was so cool! Love Mortal Kombat go and watch those. Just as I was thinking of how cool it would be if Mortal Kombat would be in today’s world I find that gem. On top of that there are two seasons! I so hope they continue that series. And the fighting just as cool! I love watching kung fu.

As you know I do not have a PS4. I know I am going to play Mortal Kombat X sometime but in the meantime I watched the story on YouTube. Interesting them going with the offspring of some main characters. I guess they have to age sometime I guess. Still strange for me for being a fan.

Now I know that Liu Kang is supposedly the main character. But I have to say he’s my least favorite even lower then Stryker. Which probably the only person on the planet who likes Stryker. That seems to be a theme with me. You hate it and I like it. I do like how he is a human and doesn’t have any real power. Like if any one of us was living in the Mortal Kombat realm.

Back to Liu Kang he is my least favorte character and still is. His voice was and still is annoying! Of all the characters to play Liu Kang? Okay even Stryker? Why not Raiden a god or Scorpion spitting fire. Liu Kang? Lol! Yeah I never liked him even though in Mortal Kombat Legacy they make him a bad ass. Still seems whiny to me.

I just have to say boobs. Still to this day those boobs of every female in the game are huge. I have never seen a normal person that skinny and have those big boobs in my life. OH video games you crack me up on the female anatomy. Also not complaining about it either. Just makes me laugh because those things would get in the way of fighting. I think it would be funny if a fatality was death by boobs then again someone would complain. Some people just don’t have a sense of humor I guess.

I love the fatalities even though some are lame. Also think babality is dumb in my opinion. I think that is what drew me to Mortal Kombat all the gruesome fatalities! I loved the original when you could send someone to the pit of spikes. Or send them down through floors upon floors to their death. Ripping off heads, brains splatters just so much blood everywhere. Also did anyone ever turn off the blood? I know that was an option or it still is. Why on earth would you play this game if you turned off the blood? I remember there was an option to turn it green. Everyone had Reptile blood. Funny.

Anyway I saw on YouTube a rating of best ten Mortal Kombat characters and of course people made their own in the comments. So here is mine.

Of course we all know everyone has their own list. I think it’s funny on YouTube where people say their list suck. It’s an opinion of course no one is going to be like ‘your list is awesome’ or ‘I agree’.

In conclusion I love Mortal Kombat. I like all the story lines even though sometimes they don’t make sense. I like their are depths to the characters. Bonus it’s gory as well. What fatalities will they come up with next?

Payday 2

Nothing exciting has happened this week so I decided to review Payday 2. Keep in mind I only have a PS3. One of these days I will have a PS4.

Anyway I played Payday and loved it. Also I only play by myself. So if you ever played Payday or Payday 2 keep in mind playing by yourself is much more challenging since you have to do everything. I do like the challenge also created a systems to get bags of loot across streets and such. Took me a bit though since I have to carry everything.

Payday 2 I got the Safecracker edition. This game came with three DLC’s. The Gagepack one and two and the armored transport missions.

Also came with this nifty Dallas patch. Even though Dallas seems to be the main character Wolf is my favorite. If you haven’t seen the mini series on YouTube go and watch the first episode. Don’t see anymore though they suck. What crappy acting. I can’t believe I wasted my time watching that. Anyway the only reason I mention it because all the characters are now based on the actors in the YouTube series. But most of them still have the same voice actors except Hoxton. Sad I liked him but they changed him to Dallas’s younger brother. I do not like playing with him and his voice annoys me. I want to add Bain into this. I refuse to except that Bain looks like that in the game and in the series. Because I like his voice but I just can’t get over him having long hair and vaping in the series. I don’t know I would imagine Bain to be an older man since he mentions he has done heists when he was younger.

I would say this game is harder then the first one and also the graphics are cooler. I like how they made the special officers actually look like people. Like the Bulldozer doesn’t look like alien anymore. More looks like someone who is going to defuse bombs. With the DLCs I got some other masks which is cool. Sometimes I want to change up their mask. The funniest though is the Bear mask. It’s so big looks funny.  I like you can create your own masks too. I have some of those as well.

The armor truck mission is hard. It’s safety deposit boxes takes a long time to open them as well. I get a little bored with this mission though and the bank deposit boxes as well. Unlike Payday the CPU’s are great shooters and can cover better. They go down a lot slower as well. However they are not great and helping me get back up. Payday one they were better at reviving me. Funny I constantly yell at them to help me though.

Crimenet I like that I can pick missions instead of the five or whatever. I like that they have Pro Jobs. I am pretty good at the Ukrainian Pro Job. Stealing a tiara is fun and added jewels. Those stupid drills still suck. Funny! I did think it was funny when Hoxton said something like Did we buy these drills from the cops. I do like they sound more human and say more human things. Also Bain sounds more human. Still can tell he isn’t American which funny. Also thought it sounded strange in Payday how Bain would say shirt sounded more like sert.

What I wish is that the characters were more diverse like from different countries. The only one that is different is Wolf. Also Wolf I thought he was French turns out he is Swedish. I only thought because on how he says the safe’s name in Payday. Otherwise everyone is from America and that sucks. I like to play with characters from different countries it’s more fun to hear them speak with their accents.

I am probably in the low percentage because I am a female but I really like playing with the male characters in games. Sometimes I will play with the female characters just for variety. However I don’t really care if the game has a female in it or not. Also I am not stealthy and not really good at those missions. I am the guns a blazing gamer. If I can blow up stuff and people and go on a rampage I am happy.

Downside of this game. I wish some missions had more instructions on what to do. I don’t really get how to do Mallcrasher yet even though I watched the YouTube video on it. I am sure I will figure it out soon or later. I didn’t get on Pro Jobs that if you fail them they are terminated. I thought it met that contact would be terminated forever. I didn’t get that it’s just the contract itself till I failed one. I don’t like everything has a money value. I liked the idea of the different trees to complete but I wish I could keep the money I earned then losing all or most of it when I fail a mission.

What is neat. I like the idea of each missions has different dimensions to it. A door that was there before won’t bet there in the same place for example. I do like that every mission is like that.

I still hate those cloakers. Funny!

I have been playing now for about two months. So I am definitely getting my money’s worth with this game. Plus so many DLCS you can get as well which is cool. I didn’t think I could have so much fun stealing things.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Metro Last Light

I accidently came across this game on the internet. I think it was on YouTube. Sometimes I look around the internet to find video games to play. This game looked interesting to me and it’s a sci-fi game.

First of I didn’t know this game was based on book. It’s based on Metro 2033 by Dmitry Glukhovsky. Secondly I didn’t know this was the sequel to the game Metro 2033. Metro 2033 is not available for the PS3.

The graphics are really well done. Bonus! I got it for a really good price $11.00 on amazon. Now this game was on sale when I got it. Regularly $16.00. Still a good deal for a really good game. I have a rule if I want to play game that I have no idea how it’s going to be. Twenty dollars or less is a perfect price to try out a game. And if I do not like it then it feels like I didn’t waste a whole lot of money on it. I also like to read reviews and look up videos of gameplay on the game. Yes I like to do a little research on a game before buying. I like to see what people say about the game and sometimes I can be swayed not to buy or to buy. But what I have noticed that I usually like the game that a lot people do not like. This game had mixed reviews. So I had to try it and I am glad I got it. It’s really great game except one thing. I do have a feeling that the replay value is going to be low because there isn’t really any choices you make and no side missions.

Metro Last Light the characters are well done and I love their accents. This game is based in Moscow Russia. So the characters are Russian even the all-around the Metro has Russian words and Russians signs. You can pick what language you want in the beginning. To be ethnic you can pick Russian of course I chose English. The voice actors are great and I love their Russian accents.

I study the Russian language for about a year. It’s neat to be able to cypher the letters and understand some of the words on the signs or the back of the characters uniforms without looking them up. Of course some of the signs are easy to understand what they say because of how they look without trying to cypher what they mean. Also when the characters swear in Russian I do understand what they say. They like to say bitch a lot in Russian. Funny!

Also the AI’s in this are awesome! When hiding and waiting for them to come by or when trying to find where they are they say things like I will find you or that guy was good guy after you killed a guy. It’s funny and it’s easy to find them in the room your place you are in.

The feel of the game I like and I like you get options of either being stealthy or go guns a blazin’. I hate stealth missions and games solely based on stealth. I am the player who likes to go guns a blazin’. I do not mind if there are some missions I have to be stealthy because their usually missions like that in any game and this game has them.

I like this game so far. Like any game there are some frustrating parts but all in all it’s good. The atmosphere of the game is great! The characters are not outrageous and can be related too. It’s a good first person game and I like the story. Another reason I like this game there no pressure to play online.

3 Resident Evil Characters

In my own opinion.

 

  1. Albert Wesker

Yes I understand that he is the bad guy but he is so cool. He has come so far in the series too. Wesker give us the bad guy to hate or in my case hate/love. He is so evil and wants to the ultimate bad guy he is intelligence and very cunning. How he tricks everyone in the first Resident Evil pretending to be the good guy working for RPD (Raccoon Police Department) and leader of S.T.A.R.S. Also he is very recognizable with his sunglasses and his slick blonde hair. I hate that they killed him in Resident Evil 5.

  1. Chris Redfield

The original player that you could have chosen in Resident Evil he had a knife. I have seen that a lot of people wish that Resident Evil would just kill him. Disagree so much! I think without Chris the series would fall apart. He is a huge big part of Resident Evil even though I dislike his storyline in Resident Evil 6. How he lost his memory is stupid. Other than that I love Chris he is the other side of Umbrella Corporation. He is the captain of BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) (I know nerd!) Anyways Chris is the solider for good.

  1. Jill Valentine

The other original player that you could have chosen in Resident Evil and she had gun. S.T.A.R.S, S.T.A.R.S! If you are a resident evil fan Nemesis says that a lot. S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Squad) (You don’t need to say it.) Anyways I love her because she a strong female character and she got a whole game to herself Nemesis. Great scary game but not scary like ghost. Scary like the Nemesis chases Jill throughout the game and she has to escape him. Never know where he is going to be. Heart pumping action. She is a bad ass and that outfit. I don’t need to say anything about that outfit she has on during the Nemesis. Chris and Jill are often partners and they make good partners too.

They never say but in my opinion I have two scenarios on how Chris and Jill are. First Chris and Jill got together at one point. Second Christ and Jill never got together because Chris and Jill are more like brother and sister relationship. But I am thinking of the first one being more realistic.

Silent Hill

Scary Weird or Scary Good?

I would say both scary weird and good. Silent Hill has two worlds normal to crazy scary!

I played the original Silent Hill on Playstation. At first I didn’t know what to think but after while it got weird. I like the storyline and I like the psychological aspect of Silent Hill. I thought the school was the scariest part of the first game and that’s what I remember the most from it.

My favorite Silent Hill was and still is Silent Hill 2. Silent Hill 2 has nothing to do with the story line of Silent Hill. I am taking control of James Sunderland while he is searching for his dead wife. (His dead wife?) This game takes the creepy award. This is where the fog comes alive literally.

In Silent Hill 2 I met the mannequins and then mannequin spiders! (Who comes up with this?) Then the famous nurses you meet them in this game but they don’t look like the nurses in any of the new games. They aren’t overly sexualized like they are now.

Of course can’t forget Pyramid Head makes his first appearance in Silent Hill 2. He scared me when I first saw him.

Silent Hill 2 is awesome and so far no other Silent Hill game has top it. Sure I have played the other Silent games but Silent Hill 2 will always be my favorite.

And now they made Silent Hill HD which is Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 for the Playstation 3, I have to get this someday.

Silent Hill 3 goes back to the storyline but now Heather is older. (Still a good game!)

Every time I want to be scared, I will play Silent Hill.

I love video games!

I have been playing video games since I was a kid. I remember getting Nintendo for Christmas one year and ever since then I have been hooked. If mom would let me, I would sit there for hours playing. I even liked to play more than my brothers.

The first game we had was Super Mario Bros. And it was addicting trying to find the princess, fighting Bowser. But my favorite Super Mario Bros will always be Super Mario Bros 3 because Mario could fly.

Then came Balloon Fight this game was also just as addicting! If I could I liked playing with my younger brother with this one. It’s definitely more fun to play two players for this game.

I don’t know if it’s weird or not but I remember a lot of the games we had. Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, Double Dragon, Mega Man, Paperboy, Rampage, Teenage Mutant Turtles

Skate or Die this game gave me blisters on my hands trying to get that guy to skate. I remember this game was my older’s brother favorite game. Let’s just say fights would break out who was going to play next. Good times!

Dunk Hunt the game with the big orange gun!

Excitebike I thought this game was unique for its time because you could create your own tracks. So many hours creating and playing.

Power Pad and World Class Track Meet this game combo was fun because we all cheated at this game. (You know you did!) We would get on the floor and use our hands pounding the pad. By doing this would make so much noise maybe that’s why our Nintendo was in the basement. (Just maybe!)

Of course owning a Nintendo lead to another system, so my younger brother and I saved money together, sold all our Nintendo games and system and bought a (drum roll please) Playstation. And that’s why I will always play Playstation and not Xbox. It’s all about the memories made with Playstation. The first game we got was Mortal Kombat. So gory, so fun!

Video Games for me is a great escape. I like using my brain to figure our puzzles or not using my brain and kill things (like zombies).

It’s weird for me because my husband doesn’t play video games but he is pretty good playing the two players game with me. (If I can ever find any.)

There is only one thing I don’t do when playing games. I don’t play online. Have I tried it? Yes and every time I play online I get the kids who are mean. Seriously I really don’t want to play with these people (kids). Sure I get mad when I am horrible at playing missions but I really don’t want a kid telling me how horrible I am and calling me names. I know online play is a big part of playing games these days but I just don’t care. I rather play single player.

Since Nintendo, I have had N64 which I loved the games (can we say GoldenEye 007!). N64 to the Cube to Wii which now I don’t own an Nintendo. But it spawned Playstation, PS2 to PS3. Now I only own a PS3. Can’t wait to own a PS4 but that will be a someday (maybe a couple of years) away system.

I will never stop playing Video Games. It’s one of my favorite hobbies that I have had for a long time.
