Tuesday March 22 2016 I went down to see April again in Appleton. This time the weather was great! And throughout the day it got warmer. Not only was I there to see April I was there to celebrate my birthday. It’s funny this year it seems I am celebrating my birthday for weeks. When I got to the school April bought me coffee. It was so good! We had salty caramel lattes.

We sat and talked April lend me the book The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J. Maas. I have been looking for a series to read and now I have one. So I will see if I like it. Also the book is hard cover and I can’t remember the last time I read a hard cover book. Funny. Now I read most books on my Kindle.

After coffee we hung out in the library on the computer trying to figure out how much and what we are going to do in London. Soon April and I will go to London together. We are going in 2019. I am excited to see everything. We are going for a whole week. April is going to be my guide since she has been there twice now. So I know we won’t be total newbies being there.

Then we had lunch at the school and I have to say it was great! Since they have a culinary program there the students cook all the food. It was better then restaurant food. We talked and then had more coffee. While sitting and drinking coffee this guy that April has talked to sat down at a nearby table and started talking to us. His name is Ray and he had throat surgery so his voice was not hard to understand but I could tell it was hard for him to talk even though he said he was getting better. I really liked talking with him he is a nice guy. I hope we can talk with him again when I go back in April.

After hanging out with April I went over to my parents house. I didn’t get to see my dad since he had a meeting to get to. However I stayed at their house alone and drank some of mom’s coffee even though I already had a bunch. Let’s say I couldn’t sleep till way later that night. Funny! Anyways I picked up my bowl I did with my mom at the Fire. She was nice enough to pick up for me.

It turned out better then I thought!

This Friday is Good Friday and that means Jeff has the day off and so does Ken. Ken and Elena are coming over today. Easter is on Sunday and Jeff and I are going to my parents house.

Today is my birthday! I am thirty three. I made it another year.

I will tell you all about my birthday later.

We have many things planned and not just for my birthday but for the weekend as well.

Anyways Happy Birthday to me!

I grouted my project with the help from Jeff. Now I have to paint the sides. It’s looking good so far.

This year as you know I am getting another implant done in my mouth. Well I can only eat on the side I am getting the implant done and I made it irritated because of it. It got really puffy that I could feel it but then the swelling went down for a bit. I waited a whole month to do anything about it. Then I ate Mexican food and irritated it again with chips. So I gave in and called the dentist.  I thought she was just going to give me some medicine for it. Wrong! She cut it open and put the screw in it. Now I have to deal with the screw till May. It’s sticking out of my gums and feels strange.

I got another early birthday present. My mom made this! At the place we went last week. It’s so me and I love it!

It’s so strange that today is February 29! This year is a leap year and every four years this happens. Strange how that is. Just had to say hi it’s February 29th!

What I did this last weekend is this:

I made this blanket. The owl fabric is very soft however hard to work with it because it’s soft. It kept breaking and hard to cut even though I got a fabric scissors for this purpose. I did get frustrated working on it but it paid off. It’s really warm and that is what I wanted it. I saw this owl fabric in our Walmart and I loved it and Jeff informed me we needed more blankets. So that is why I did this blanket. I like that I can flip it to the hearts if I want to.

Jeff had a good idea for our bed. We had box springs and frame like everyone else. However our mattress sags even though it’s almost new. So Jeff came up with a solution to make this:

A really flat frame that our bed sits on top without the box springs. It made our bed brand new! However he made it in two pieces and we had to carry it in. I kept telling him it was too heavy for me. I don’t know why he didn’t believe me but when I helped him, he told me that it looked like my head was going to pop off my neck. I guess my face a got really red but I kept telling him it’s too heavy for me. Basically after the first one Jeff brought in the second one without me. I have bruises on my right arm for trying to haul it in. I knew I would since I bruise easy, I hate that. But now we have a comfy bed again to sleep so worth it.

I am proud of myself. I drove to Appleton by myself for the first time! It takes an hour to get there from my house and of course this was the weather.

Foggy!

This was on Tuesday February 23 2016. I went to the Fox Valley Technical College to meet up with April. The reason the Tech because April is taking an ASL class there and it’s easier to see her there then in her town which is much further away. I haven’t been to the Tech since 2004 I think. I never got my degree because I am dumb. I should have stayed with the degree I started out with which was history but switched to Criminal Justice. I liked it but I hated it at the same time. My goal at first was to be cop but then thought about working in a prison. I don’t then I didn’t follow through but I love history so I should have stayed with that. I flunked out and never went back even though I think about it sometimes. Anyways going back to the Tech it changed so much since I was there. It’s like a whole new school! And there are way more professions to study for then back then. Crazy!

April and I had breakfast at the Ihop which I have to say I haven’t been to an Ihop in a long time. I wasn’t really impressed but it was great being with April. We both had coffee and chocolate chip pancakes! We exchanged Christmas presents. Funny we haven’t seen each other for a long time so yes Christmas presents. April got me this!

Sherlock coloring book! It’s awesome!

I got April a Nightwish shirt because she is meeting them and seeing them soon! I am not a fan but it’s cool for her and I am excited for her to see and meet Nightwish.

April and I walked the whole school many times so we got a lot of exercise that day. But it was fun to chat and that makes time go fast.  I got there at nine and left around one thirty. Time flew! It was fun and will be going back to hang. Till next time…

Yesterday Saturday February 20 2016 Jeff and I had lunch with my parents at Mr. Cinder’s. First of all our waitress was super slow! When that happens my mom gets really irritated and becomes one of those parent moments.  Good thing my mom didn’t’ get too upset because when that happens look out! Also can be embarrassing.

Anyways while sitting and chatting after eating. A woman I use to work with and is my FB friend comes in with her family. I am trying the whole time to make eye contact so I can say “Hey Lisa! Wow hi!” I haven’t talked to her in over five years. She made no eye contact and when she got up no eye contact even then. I was thinking this is strange. I felt awkward going over to her table because her family and someone else was with her. I was also thinking isn’t that strange not to say anything?

Jeff even said ‘isn’t that your friend Lisa?’

Here is my thoughts on the subject. I think maybe she didn’t want to see because I lost a lot of weight since we last saw each other and she gained a lot of weight. Maybe she was jealous, I will never know. I think that is dumb. So what did I do unfriend her from my FB page. Thought that was stupid she didn’t even look my way even though I was looking her way. From her body language I could tell she didn’t want to acknowledge me at all.  Oh well.

The next subject we went and saw Deadpool last week and I didn’t know it was opening day. Funny me. Anyways we got a little figurine when we went to the movie. It’s a little Deadpool guy and Jeff found out they are limited edition toy. They are selling on Ebay for twenty dollars! Isn’t that crazy! I wouldn’t sell him though i like that he sits on my computer monitor screen.

Funny. Jeff saw gave me my birthday present early. We are funny because we both can’t wait when we buy each other gifts. About a month ago I told Jeff either for my birthday or Christmas I would like heart earrings. I got heart earrings for my birthday from Jeff. Wow is he fast. funny! I love they are beautiful!

Everyone has fears like I am a afraid of going up a ladder. Why? I am afraid of falling and it hurting. Scary. I am also afraid of spiders. Not the tiny ones but dandy longs scare me. Yes I understand that they are tiny and harmless however I hate all those legs. I hate spiders and freak out when I see one.

However I have two great fears that I can’t control and they scare me greatly.

I am scared of getting Alzheimer disease. My grandma my dad’s mom had it and it was bad. It was sad that she couldn’t remember her sons and daughters. Seeing her like that made me wonder if that is genetic even though my dad said she was the only one in the family who got it. Still though it still scares me and now has become one of my greatest fears that I won’t remember when I get old.

They say doctors keeping the mind active now can help prevent that. So I try to keep my mind active. I really don’t want to not remember people or remember my life.

My second greatest fear is Jeff dying before me. What would I do without him? I would be so sad and depressed. I don’t know if I could live without him. I love him that much! It was so sad when my mother in law died. Jeff’s dad was so sad and made me fear that for Jeff. I really hope that if one of us dies the other one dies soon. Odd to think that way but it’s how I feel.

Fear is my least favorite emotion and having great fears is scary! These I can’t change because I don’t know the future.
