Merry Christmas and Happy holidays!

We made Christmas cookies and it wasn’t that bad as last year. Actually had fun making them this year. We used some vivid colors this year too.

I got new cookie cutters too:

Christmas Eve we are going to my parent’s house. I will show pics later. Then Christmas Day my parents are coming to our house for meatloaf. Adam is in WI this week and he is going to stay over. It will be fun.

Today is Labor Day. Today many people get the day off. It’s great! We usually do nothing on Labor Day and this Labor Day is no different.

But yesterday we celebrated my mom’s sixtieth birthday. I was nervous going because there was going to be family there I haven’t seen in about five years. And they way my mom was talking is that this party was going to have a lot of people there.

Jeff and I are always the first one at my parent’s house and guess what? We were the first ones there. As people started to come in there weren’t that many people as my mom said. There were few of my mom’s co-workers and they were very nice people.

I saw aunt’s and uncle’s I haven’t seen in a long time and it’s funny they really haven’t changed. Who changed was me. They seem older. And my Aunt Kathy I never really have anything in common with her and her husband Dave was always strange to me. But now as I am older they are still strange but not as strange.

Everyone was just having fun. Mom was all over the place but that is okay. Jeff and I made cake for her birthday. Mom wanted confetti cake with cherry frosting. We also made chocolate marble cake as well.

It was good day.

On July 4 2015 we celebrated our Independence!

On this day we went my Aunt Sue’s and Uncle Dan’s condo. We have never been there before. Wow! It’s very nice. It’s only about forty five minutes where we live. So not that long of a drive. It was neat to see everyone.

My cousin Alice and her family came up from Utah. And my Aunt Jeanne came from Florida. I haven’t seen her in a very long time. She still looks the same. Very tan! My cousin Rebecca was there. Rebeca has a form of autism and I am one of her favorite people. It was very nice to see her and she acted great this time.

My brother Corey and his family was there. Guess what? Didn’t have anything to say to me. Which you know I don’t really care at this point. Jeff and I always giggle a little when they leave which they had to leave early this time. We laugh because Corey’s wife Kim never, NEVER gives Jeff a hug goodbye. And we can’t figure out why. She most of the time gives me a hug goodbye. Strange they are.

We were there for a long time. We got there around one and stayed till almost seven thirty. It was fun just to hang out. Until and I don’t know why this always happens. But someone has to bring up politics. During this time I go to my mind castle and play around. Because I usually disagree on what they have to say but don’t really want to get into it.

I have to say almost every time we get together with my dad side of the family a poker game breaks out. Sometimes I play and sometimes I do not. Depends if I am in the mood. But Jeff loves so to play with the guys. Unless it’s Thanksgiving and my cousin Julie plays. It’s usually us two girls who play but mostly guys. Poker games are traditional on that side and can be fun. We play for very low money, nickels! But some games can get big. We also like to play local games than just the traditional pokers games. Like Bonduel auction which is named after a small town in Wisconsin. That is when you buy your hand. It’s fun!

But this time I really wanted to hang out with my cousin Alice. And I did! She is fun and funny. I took some pictures of the get together. Covertly. Ha! They are a good looking bunch!

Yesterday June 21, 2015 was Father’s Day. However we celebrated Father’s Day on Saturday. The thing is my dad only has me here in Wisconsin and Jeff’s dad only has him. Jeff does have a brother but they are not close and his dad is not close with him. It’s strange and I don’t really understand that. I mean I understand about Jeff and his brother but his dad? Strange but whatever.

Anyways Jeff and I decided to take both dad’s, Ken’s girlfriend Elena and my mom out for lunch on June 20 2015 for Father’s Day lunch. We went to the best Chinese restaurant in our opinion for lunch, Ginger Roots. It’s the best! And the service is great every time.

Oh it was such a wonderful time! We talked and ate great food. Everyone seemed to get along with Elena which is awesome. She is such a wonderful lady. We all were full of stories. What I think is neat is that there was no awkward pauses during the whole lunch which we spent a couple of hours there.

Since we paid for everyone that was our Father’s Day gift for both dad’s. I think it was a great time and everyone seemed happy. Which can be hard to do.

Today is Memorial Day and today we honor those who have died in the military. To me this means everyone who has died since the birth of America.

I can’t speak for everyone but I love being an American. I think I live in the greatest country in the world. Why do I love being American? Because I get to be free. Free to choose whatever I want because of the people who thought a long time ago to not be part of another country.

One thing I dislike about holidays in America is a lot of businesses use these type of holidays and every other holidays to make money. I find that to be shameful. I understand why they do that however this is a day is to honor a lot of people who died to make our country great. They are making money on the honorable dead.

However I am grateful to all those who sacrifice their lives so that we all can be free here in America. I want to say thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Also thank you to the families who have lost their loves one in the military.

New Year Eve is fun! No matter what you do. We like to watch the New Year Eve celebration on the TV.

The New Year Eve celebration on the TV is fun because they have a lot of musical guests and celebrities come out as well. I like that is all different artist as well everything from pop, country, and rap. The New Year Eve celebration takes place in New York. I like to see all the people that go to that. So many! It’s like waves of people. Also when they drop the ball in New York we still have an hour but they show it again when it’s our turn to drop the ball.

When I was kid we celebrated it the same way. My parents would get a pizza and non-alcoholic drinks. Like sparkling grape juice and we couldn’t drink it till midnight, we all would stay up and watch the TV. When the ball dropped we would all toast and get hugs and kisses. It was fun!

We do the same thing but we have alcohol. Jeff and I get a pizza and watch the TV. When the ball drops we give each other a kiss and a hug.

Everyone should celebrate the New Year because you made it another year.That is something to celebrate.

At the end of every year I like to think about how the year went for me. This year I went through some changes and heart ache which made me a better person.

Let’s go through what went down in 2014.

• I lost 30 pounds
• My doctor says I am healthy
• I cut some people out of my life but still working on how I feel about that
• Told someone how I felt and it didn’t go well
• Went to an awesome concert
• Met Jeremy Spencer from 5FDP
• Met 5FDP
• Went on two awesome vacations
• Started to learn American Sign Language (having fun as well)
• Worked heavily on my creative imagination-meaning I created some really good stories this year and I will continue. In fact I have a story that I love writing now. Thinking of publishing that one in the future.
• Played some awesome video games like GTA 5, Resident Evil Revelations and Little Big Planet 3 which I got for Christmas.
• I didn’t have any real major problems with my teeth this year. That is accomplishment.
• Halloween was fun
• Thanksgiving really sucked
• Christmas was just okay
• Added new bands to my listening pleasure
• Our Escape got a bunch upgrades (That means can keep it for longer)
• My Little brother moved to Oregon. Our relationship got better

I will have to say that 2014 was big but I want 2015 to be bigger.
